I too dream of hiking the entire Appalachian Trail. A few years ago I hiked it several times beginning in NH. I was the only chick with a group of 4 guys but it was the biggest kick, being in the lead. They were a bunch of long-haired hippy wusses. I wish I could remember how far we got, in one day we did 12 hours without stopping. I'll have to do some looking online to see if I can jog my memory.
All I know for sure is - I lost 37 pounds that summer and had muscles in my legs that were solid as rocks! hee :)
Thank you Marsha, for doing the meme. It's cool to discover things we have in common.
