All Over The Place

My parents and Jeff's mom are all coming to Mississppi to see Mandy graduate from high school and to spend some time with us at the end of May. I am trying to come up with a plan so that their vacation here is fantastic. Of course no one has opinions they all want me to come up with the plans, and when I do no one likes my ideas.

When Jeff picks up his mom from the airport he wants to pull into the driveway of the biggest mansion in our area and tell her, we are here mom. Then tell her to get back in the car before she gets arrested. Jeff tells it better. He is so excited.

I have a friend coming over to go walking with me, then I am stuffing envelopes for the PTO, doing my job, making reservations... The end of the school year is wild and crazy. I was putting everything on the calendar last night and it was all a bit much. Glad we decided not to do any extra activities this year. However, next year we are hoping to get into Girl Scouts.

So this post has meandered all over the place. This is my mind. All over the place.

Your husband is a funny guy!

My mind has been all over the place lately too and I don't even have the stress of planning for graduation and family to visit. I'm sure whatever plans you come up with will be fabulous. Keep it simple and slow-paced and everyone will be happier. :)

You are better than me! I have both my family and John's family coming down here to NC for Jake's graduation June 12 but I'm not planning a single thing. Everyone is sleeping here at our house (I told them to bring their own sleeping bags or air mattresses) and I'll be happy if we all get somehow fed and bathed, nevermind planning activities for them all. The only activity I'm planning is a picnic lunch the day after graduation for his party. I'll have to put my thinking cap on now for some free activities we could do...

Reminds me of the time the kids and I had to buy a house while my husband was in flight school. It was a lovely home with a great eight stall barn. We took lots of pictures of it to show my husband. We also took pictures of a very dilapitated place to tease him with. The opposite of what Jeff wants to do with his Mom.
