am I wrong?

Last night I was starting to feel a bit better. I was looking around the house making lists in my mind of all the things I have to get done in the next 10 days to ready the house for the inspection. We will be spending our last week in Misawa in billeting (hotel).

I told Jeff that I was worried I wouldn't be able to get it all done in time and maybe we should just hire someone. I lost a week of cleaning time with this stupid illness, taking care of the entire sick family is a lot of work. Plus, there were a lot of naps. Some how last week went by without a single thing being done toward the move out. Now the list of things I have to do feels enormous.

Jeff got so happy. I asked him why is he so happy, does he really want to spend all that money on someone else cleaning the house when I can do it for free. He said, he doesn't want to spend the money, but...

He has just been waiting for me to admit that he is right and I am wrong.

You weren't wrong. You just didn't anticipate every little thing that could have gone wrong.

Hiring someone sounds like a good idea. One less thing for you to stress over.

It will be some of the best money you ever spent if you do it. In terms of stress reduction anyway.

Hmmm...someone needs a knuckle sandwich if you ask me! LOL. Split the job and save the money. Give him the stove and the washer and dryer to do! Those are the worse part of the clean up. We did all of ours in 3 days. You can do it. Although the luxury of having some one clean is nice, the money you spend is not worth it. Give Mandy a few jobs to do, like the bathroom. Good luck!

men, geesh.

of course, every ten years or so it is nice to make them feel like they are right. and it's cute how they wag their tails like little puppies.

my husband and i are currently arguing about what i will do, what he will do, and what we will pay others to do. it is physically impossible to do it all ourselves at this point, so we will have to farm out some of it to subcontractors (and definitely a cleaning service).

don't kick yourself, especially when everyone has been sick. feel better, and get some help!
