Tsunami

Last night about 5 minutes before I was going to go upstairs to bed we had a Tsunami warning crawl across the bottom of the screen. Freaked me out, so I stayed up for hours watching the progress of the Tsunami. Nothing really came of it, a wave 20 cm high hit in the city just south of us. I am so tired. Thousands of people were evacuated from the coast. You can read all about it here. I guess there wont be any earthquakes, volcanos, or tsunamis in Mississippi.

No, just hurricanes, tornados and HOT weather...not much to worry about! :-)

And bugs.

But you are right, unless you are on the coast, no Tsunamis.

Wow, I saw that in the paper today. It's scary but I'm glad nothing happened.

I can't tell y'all how freaked out I am about moving into the neighborhood destroyed by hurricane katrina. I was scared moving here, becaue of all the volcanos and earthquakes, and I am trying to find perspective.

I saw this on the news and you were the FIRST thing I thought about. So glad all is well.

You know, Mother Nature can wreak havoc anywhere she wants, and we get smarter every time she decides its time to do her dirty work. I think you'll be just as fine in Mississippi as you'd be anywhere in the world.
