It turns out that Lily and I did not have colds, because colds don't go away in a day, right? I think it must have been allergies. The pollen in so thick here you can cut it with a knife. We have been spending a lot of time outside too. A little clariton and our sore throats went away. The gnats here are so thick. Just walking from the house to the care causes us to get bit all over our faces, ankles and hands. I tried to clear off and sweep up our back porch yesterday and plant some grass seed in the bare patches, those little gnats were swarming my face and arms. It is so incredibly beautiful and the weather is amazing, but those bugs make me want to hide away and never leave the house.
I lost two pounds this week, but this morning I had gained them back. I was disappointed I was hoping to lose more during this two week diet, tomorrow is Jeff's PT test and today is the last day of our diet. It will be nice on our pocket book to take a break from dieting. I am thinking of continuing the struggle but with less absolute restrictions. To celebrate our two weeks of dieting we are planning on going out to dinner in down town Biloxi and walking along the beach afterwards. Hopefully we wont glut and the prices wont kill us, and the gnats will leave us alone as well.
Mandy is on break this week. I have things planned everyday for Lily and her playgroups and also things with Mandy. We are so busy. I am looking forward to spending time with Mandy. She is so busy we hardly ever see her. If we can find her a prom dress we are planning a trip to an aquarium if not we will be spending all our extra time at malls.
I Think I May Have A Screw Loose

I saw my podiatrist yesterday. One part of my foot is still hurting (it's
been almost two months since the surgery). He thinks it may be one of the
screws ...

Pollen? Buh? Doesn't that come from green plants? Haven't seen any of those around here lately. :)
Seriously, though, I was glad to read you are feeling better.
Hang in there with the diet. Research shows that restrictive diets don't work in the long term. The basic idea behind watching your intake of simple sugars is good, but don't go overboard. Take a break from the scale and focus on eating healthy. Find some exercise that you enjoy. If you feel better and have more energy then it doesn't matter what your numbers are.
Hello, just thought I would drop a line, although I have been sneaking around here for a week or so! Hope you are all keeping well?
Take care and Happy Easter.
Oh dear, shopping at the mall. Not my idea of fun. Can you get a prom dress on-line? Ha.
