So far nothing good. What we are willing to pay is about enough to buy a cardboard box, with a leaky roof in the middle of a swamp. Hopefully I will find something today, but yesterday was so sad. I guess it is true what they say about a two income family, you need to be one to buy a home in America. Yesterday, I was so happy to be in America, now I miss Japan. Today is another day.
Mandy and I were watching Gone with the Wind the other day, one of my all time favorite movies. Read the book many times too. She came into the movie almost at the end and was asking me all kinds of questions, so I did a quick synopsis of the movie for her, and so I say to you, "I will think about that later, Tomorrow is another day". I probably got that quote all wrong, does anyone know the actual quote. I will be Scarlett today dammit and find me a house. Everyone keeps telling me to just go up in price and pay more, but we can't afford more. What is the use of living in a nice house if you can't afford to eat? Anyways, best go find me a house. Good thoughts.
I Think I May Have A Screw Loose

I saw my podiatrist yesterday. One part of my foot is still hurting (it's
been almost two months since the surgery). He thinks it may be one of the
screws ...

go find you a house. look either in the very center of town or in the outskirts. and good luck.
i've never seen gone with the wind.
You will find the house. It is very stressful. Don't go up in price, especially if your realtor is saying to do so. Maybe you need to look a bit farther out of the area. Don't give up, you will find something and remember there is always the option of renting for a year until you get a feel for the area. Keep your chin up darling. By the way the only quote I remember is "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" Use it but add to it..."I am not going up in price!" Good luck! Check the paper too for For Sale By Owner, sometimes they will work with a realtor.
Don't give up home. Keep looking. You'll find something.
Is it possible that you rent for now and then take more time to look once you're there and settled in?
