I am currently in search of a new source of stress relief. I gave up smoking, 8 years ago. I have tried drinking, didn't do much for me. I am currently using chocolate chip cookies, which I have to say works better for me than cigs ever did, however, I have to give this form of relaxation up. Now what? Prescription drugs? Yoga? Can you see me doing yoga? That would be so funny, I would fall over and squash those skinny yoga bitches. Joking. Any ideas?
I Think I May Have A Screw Loose
-
I saw my podiatrist yesterday. One part of my foot is still hurting (it's
been almost two months since the surgery). He thinks it may be one of the
screws ...

Well you have to know I'm going to suggest you learn to knit socks.
And you have to know i'm going to suggest exercise.
I say stick with the cookies. Life is short! Ok, j/k -- I have to give up the cookies too. I like to watch movies from Netflix, or read a book (!) for stress-relief. Or eat cookies.

I would suggest walking...briskly.
Oh Jeepers this is a tough one - good on you for giving up the cigs! (I still need to kick that habit). I don't know what works cause I also like cookies - yummy! I think the walking thing is about the best! GOOD LUCK!
Dixie: good one, thanks
Meno: I am trying.
Lorelei: Love the cookies, I like netflix too and reading.
Annonymous: good one
Lynn: That is a great idea, I always feel better after a brisk walk.
Genevieve: walking sounds good to me too, thanks for the good wishes-right back at you.
You can do yoga at home, away from the skinnies. There is a great at home set called Om, yoga in a box by Cyndi Lee that is great. It has flash cards that show you what you're supposed to do, and a cd that is very informative.
I like the cd better than the dvds because I find that when I try to use the dvd, I'm always looking at it to make sure that I'm doing it right. With the cd, I can just concentrate on what I'm doing.
