Dancing Lady

Sorry I have been away so long. I have been so busy. Mostly with school work. I am trying to figure out how to write a script to make a questionnaire, it will ask you your opinions on the upcoming election and then tell you which of the candidates most closely reflects your thinking. Sounds easy right. Well, I don't know as much about computer programming as I think I do. The biggest problem is that my teacher wants us to use a PERL script and I haven't taking a PERL programming class yet. I could write a java program to do the programming bit, but I don't know how to get java on a web page. I am a wicked good java programmer, or at least the first two semesters of java, I still have three to go. I guess the problem is I bit off more than I can chew. So now I am retracing my steps and simply doing the bare minimum that the teacher asks us to do. How boring is that? I am going to ask people which of the candidates they are planning to vote for, a simple poll. I will get my credit and life will go on.

By the way, this is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Go here and watch the dancing lady to see if you are right brained or left brained. See if you can make her switch, I was finally able to get her to go the other way, but for the longest time I could only see her moving clockwise. Tell me which way you see her turning and if you can make her switch.

Okay fes up...you really have been watching that dancing lady all week. I am right brained by the way, so I get it! HA, that is what is said anyway. Pretty cool. Glad your still around. Anel thought you were off vacationing on the beach or something like that. Who would of thought you were doing homework!?
And about the book club?

The lady switches on her own, going clockwise and counter clockwise changing direction every so often. It is not that your brain perceives her going one way or the other based on whether you are right or left brained, the picture is set to turn both directions:~) At least that is how I see it.

The bookclub. It was taking me an enormous amount of time and I wasn't really enjoying it anymore. First I had to buy and read books that are not really my taste. Then I had to do all the research and coding to get the info on the blog. And then no one participates. I decided that it was not a good use of the limited time I have on the computer each day so I am letting it go, as Angel did before me. Feel free to take it on, anyone who is interested. But, it was too time consuming and too frustrating for me to continue.

I too have been distracted. I am right brained and have known that for some thirty years.
