Thanks for the nice comments about our hair. Funny story: Often people ask us, where did Lily get her hair color? Looking at Jeff's dark brown hair and my dark blond/light brown hair and Lily's white blond hair. Jeff always answers politely with information about our genealogy and I always have a smart remark. I usually say, "the milk man." I think this is a little embarrassing to Jeff, but isn't it sort of an implication of my infidelity to ask such a question in the first place? I always think rude question, rude answer.
PS, Angel- I have to blow dry my hair too. Or it looks horrid, see slide show of fall muster below. Not so much to straighten but to add a bit of volumn.

My sister and I are so different the joke in my family is that I'm from the milk man and my sister is from the mail man.

We grew up telling my brother he was adopted. He is 6'4" with blond hair, we are dark haired and quite a bit shorter.
Sometime people make comments like that about my daughter's eye color. I tell them that i don't know who the mother is.
Not strange to me. I had white blond hair when I was Lily's age and both my parents hair was almost black. I like meno's approach!
